In The Penguin Episode 8 Flixtor, Francis was aware of Oz's brothers from the very beginning. She understood his actions and contemplated the idea of eliminating him, but when he was young, Oz managed to charm his way out of it by making numerous promises to her. In her final moments, Francis pleads with Oz to show her mercy and end her suffering as her mind begins to fade. Ultimately, Francis's gamble fails, leaving Oz alive, which is to be expected since he is her son. Despite this, Oz continues to deceive her, refusing to take responsibility for his actions when the opportunity arises. He allows Francis to lie motionless after her stroke and as a result. Her life loses all significance, overshadowed by everything Oz has done to her.
